Deep gold with a frothy white head. Bready aroma, caramel, a touch of brandy. Taste is mildly sweet with some mild, grainy bitterness at the end. Comes together quite nicely. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. Pleasant.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Malt, lemon and a hint of sherbet in the aroma. Bread, malt and citrus all feature in the clean taste. Easy to drink.

Bock hell von der Brauerei Wagner Merkendorf, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding. - Tief goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase schweres helles Malz (langes Würzekochen), gedämpftes Zitronenöl und grasige Herbe. - Antrunk tief hellmalzig mit satter aber nicht platter Süße, die durch beträchtliche kräuterige Herbe mit Zitronenöl mehr als nur ausbalanciert wird. Mild rezent, ölig schwer; dezenter Alkohol. Im Abgang kräftige krautige Herbe mit einer Spur von Pfeffer. - Schön malzig-schwerer, kernig gehopfter Bock; sauber und sehr solide (wenngleich ohne die Raffinesse der allerbesten).

Bottle. Clear golden color with creamy white head. Aroma is grassy, green hops, pale malts, popcorn. Taste is grassy, honey, marzipan, melon, a touch earthy. Grassy aftertaste with a touch of booze. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Good Heller Bock!

Bottle @ Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. BB 08/16. Poured clear Pale yellow with a white head. Green and herbal hoppy, bread, slight marzipan and alcohol. Smooth, dry and hoppy with a quite bitter hoppy finish.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig fruchtig, getreidig, leicht herb. Geschmack sehr malzig getreidig, fruchtig, leicht alkoholisch.

Golden color with medium white head. Floral aroma with malt and grassy hops. Taste sweet malt, honey, bee wax, caramel, little bit harsh bitterness in finish.

Blond color. Anonymous aroma. The flavor is a bit malty, and the body strength is correct; as well, correct bitterness, with a bit of alcohol in the end. Nevertheless, one more Heller Bock that is not winning my interest in the style.

Hopfiger und kräuterartiger Antrunk, scharf aber angenehm. Im Mittelteil wird das Bier etwas milder, der kräuterartige Ton bleibt weitestgehend erhalten, der aufkommende Alkoholton lässt dies aber in den Hintergrund rücken. Auch das anfänglich noch wichtige Malz rückt hier in den Hintergrund, ist aber im Abgang wieder deutlich zu erkennen, hier wird da Bier zusätzlich süßer und etwas hopfiger. (Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 29 Jan 2010) Pale yellow colour with a firm, rocky, white head. Malty nose with notes of grass, grain, toffee and a generous malt sweetness. Malty, full flavoured taste with grain, bread, toffee and a spicy, grassy bitterness in the finish. More than full body, balanced malt sweetness. The impressive malt presence and a generous grassy bitterness make this a solid, well balanced and tasty bock. Very nice.
