Bottle. Buttery caramel malt and grassy hops aroma. Clear amber color with large head. Sweet caramel malt flavor with moderately bitter grass hops finish. Thankfully diacetyl not too strong in the flavor. A nice landbier on the hoppy side.

Bottled (at Chriso). Golden color, small white head. Malty, grassy nose. A bit sour with malty and spicey notes. Medium-bodied. Crisp and lemony finish. Feels like not the most freshiest bottle.

Light haze. Amber-brown. Thick rocky head. Rustic, yeasty nose with light malt character. Spicy and breadcrusty character. Good body. Carbonation is a bit prickly. Very drinkable Franken country beer with a faint smoke nuance in the finish.
Sampled from the bottle, not as good, thinner and more metallic tasting. I’ve said it before and I’ve said it again - it’s a waste of time drinking Franconian country beer from the bottle.

Bottled at Stöhrenkeller, Bamberg. Clear reddish amber, small creamy head. Roasty perfumy malt aroma. Sweet and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Velvetty mouthfilling maltiness, notes of raisin. Finishes with low bitterness. A mild and pleasant beer where malt gives nearly all the flavour.

(bottle) Clear, amber to copper colour with a medium-sized, off-white foamy head. Sweet and slightly toasted malt aroma with honey, light notes of toffee and a soft herbal hoppy blend. Sweet and moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Malt-accented taste, slightly toasted with caramel/toffee and subtle fruity accents; moderately sweet malty finish with balancing herbal, slightly bitter hops and liquorice in the aftertaste; initially with a light touch of metal that fades quickly. Still a decent Franconian Landbier.
