On tap at Mikkeller Tokyo, pours a clear copper with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out gentle grassy hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is gently herbal, with a nice grassy hop character and crisp biscuity malt base. Doesn't seem all that Czech-like, as the hops come across more grassy than spicy. But it's balanced, well-hopped and drinkable. Good stuff.

Bottle at hotel. Medium golden with light foamy head. Grainy, grassy aroma. Taste brings in some caramel, with a dry bitterness.

Was going to order this at Kamikaze but the owner kindly gave me a heads up some detect diacetyl so try a sample first. I found it bready crisp and light but I guess diacetyl May show up as it warms. I played it safe and ordered a pour of something else.

Quite hazy copper and peach coloured body with an orange glow and a thinnish, single to two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of crisp grain, a touch of citrus and grass and a little herbs noticeable near the end. Light-bodied; Super sharp pungent grain and astringent malt note at first with a very light grassy and herbal flavours with some light yeast and biscuity malt notes along with a touch of light sugars and ending with a watery and mild metallic twang near the end. Aftertaste shows quite a bit of bitterness, a lot of grassy flavours and ending with a very biscuity and dry finish with the yeast front and centre. Overall, a decent, very easy-drinking malty and metallic flavour with not much else - no real hop flavours, no complexity and no depth throughout, but still showing a lot of astringent malts and only showing a touch of floral aspects on the end. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Food Lion in Onley, Virginia on 27-January-2018 for US$1,67 sampled at home in Washington on 06-April-2018.

Draft at at B Side. From an Untappd rating back in July 23, 2017... hmmm. Poured a clear golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was crisp malts, some light grassy notes. Flavor was similar, crisp, grassy with a little bit of sweetness. Really solid and refreshing for a pils. Nice!
