Did you wish on a shooting star for a big, hazy, beauty of a New England IPA? It was possibly some Spey’s Hardware!

Our rich, fulsome, New England IPA, bursting with the freshest and fanciest hops – Simcoe, Mosaic and Citra – for a big fruity flavour, with just a touch of background bitterness.

It goes down a storm at Summer Festivals, tasting just like tropical fruit juice – a little bit dangerous at 6.4% ABV.

Malts: Pale Ale, Wheat, Oats.
Hops: Delta, Rakau, Simcoe, Mosaic, Citra.

Keg at Earl of Essex, Islington, London. An amber/orange/brown coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, citrus, peach, tropical fruit. Decent.

Can. Dark grey orange, big golden head. Looks oxidized but mostly clean fruity hop notes. Peach, lychee, grassy. Medium light mellow body. On the intersection of a NE and a properly good IPA

Can. Murky dark orange, almost brown, color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is tropical fruits, a bit minty, bready, toffee. Taste is the same. Silky mouthfeel with low to medium carbonation. Decent, though not exactly what you'd expect from the name.

Can from Westhill Service Stationm it pours cloudy amber - brown with a medium bubbly white head. The aroma is fresh, soft, sweet, juicy, apricot, mango, peach, marmalade, bread and dull toffee. The taste is dry, bitter, resin, pine, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, touch of toffee, brown bread, apricot, marmalade, bit of spice and alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. She ain't a looker - very murky and darker than expected. Nice aroma anyhow. Decent enough stuff.
