Dry hopped with over 50 lbs of hops, this hoppy citrus’y IPA finishes with light malt notes and sweet undertones, cutting the bitterness to round out the palate. This IPA finishes very clean, making it a great beer to pair with food.

Taster at Republic. Medium amber. Aroma is resinous, piney. Taste is also pretty hop forward, a nice malty base underneath. Pine, juniper. Sharp, biting. Sticky.

On tap at Pryes, pours a hazy copper orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out piney hops, with some herbal/vegetal notes and bready malt. Flavour is high on the herbal hops upfront, with a vegetal character, followed by light pine, and dry bready malt. Too herbal and vegetal for me. Not a strong house IPA.

Pours a clear, reddish-gold (copper?) with smallish head. Aroma is sharp and full of pine/spruce hoppiness, some grass. Flavor follows, with a light sweetness, but primarily sharp, piney hops. Perhaps a touch of citrus, too, but very muted.

Minnesota Trip Beer #56. Keg at Black Sheep Pizza, 5/8/16. Clear golden, thin creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of floral, citrus hops, doughy malt. The taste is doughy malt, citrus, hops. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. Disjointed and amateurish.

Enjoyed on draft at both at The Bachelor Farmer and New Bohemia Wurst + BierHaus in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pour is copper, brown, dark golden with a smallish off white head. The aroma is sweeter caramel malt, cereal grain, and some citrus hops. The taste is malt forward, with the sweet caramel and grain malt. The hops are present, brightening up the flavor towards the end adding a nice resin element. The palate is medium bodied, lower carbonation level and a sweet, softly bitter resin finish. Clean and well made - good take on a malt forward IPA.

Samples from the tap at Republic. Pours a clear copper with an off-white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a combination of sweet citrus and sweet grains with a hint of straw. Flavor starts with sweet grains and sweet citrus with a growing bitterness.
