Reviewed from notes. Consumed 12/18/2017.
Bottle to chalice.
Appearance: dark muddled brown close to dark purple - maybe black sort of color with no head and no lace
Aroma: dark fruits, Belgian sugars, some bubblegum, sweet wafers, some vanilla extract, really sweet bananas
Flavor: copies the aromas pretty spot on to a sweet quality with a hint of spice; finishes dark fruity, bubblegum-like and sugary
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable? Yeah, I believe so. Hmmmm...too much smoothness to the point of being somewhat in between "mobile" and "watery." Little bit of a hard stare at the brewer
Overall: well, no "back-of-the-throat" Belgian-like dryness/grab, the body seemed off and where were the Belgian spices? Not sure what they were "entirely" trying to do with this one.

Bomber from Tavour. Dark brown body, collar of foam. Aromma serms to come off as too swert, but taste puts it back on track . It is still very sweet, prunes, plums and raisins. Kind of sticky. But not too boozy.

Bomber from Tavour. Nose is golden raisins, candi sugar, and a background hint of vanilla and bubblegum. Clear brown with a small, quickly disapating beige head. Flavor is moderately sweet, malty, and dark fermented fruitiness. Not a SB abt 12 but quite tasty and drinkable.

Pours a black from a bottle, no head, some khaki bubbles quickly dissipate with no lacing or islands. Aroma is a sarsaparilla, light brown sugar, flavor similar, slightly vegetal with a hint of tobacco. The name bothers me, as I feel like they may not know that the letter "c" in Latin was pronounced like "k". Still a pun I suppose but somewhat less than if it were a homonym and a pun. I'm also unsure what the relationship is between an attempt at a Belgian style beer and Isaac Newton's epochal work. Okay beer.

Bottle purchased at One Stop Market, Haverhill, MA. The appearance is dark brown and when held to the light a purple or red hue. No head or lace to really speak about. Aroma is tons of dark fruit, dates, sugar coated raisins, candied plums and molasses. The flavor reflects the aromas.
Alcohol presence is only slightly noticeable with the sweetness covering it up pretty well. I liked this but I would say spend just a little more and get the Whiskey Barrel Aged version instead. Or sample them side by side and figure it out for your own palate. And much like the BA variant, best to cellar this for a little while.
