12 oz can from Brewers Haven. Slick, thick black pour, capped by a creamy beige head. Aroma is chocolatey, very chocolatey. Taste is more sweet chocolate, a touch of roasty malt bitterness and creamy milk sugar. Thick and creamy, starts sweet, finishes bitter.

Pours close to pitch black, if it isn't, nice head of tan foam, great lacing of tan foam around the glass.
Huge chocolate, cocoa nibs smell. Wow. There's something else in there..maybe lactose.
Luscious chocolate stroke cocoa nibs taste. Reminiscent of the Samuel Smith Chocolate beer. Semi sweet with a touch of bitter dark chocolate. Nice balance, good job of hiding the 8%abv.
High end of medium bodied, lowish carbonation.
Delicious beer. I'm a bit puzzled as to how this showed up locally..
