16 oz can. Flavor of light raisins, mild toffee, and a hint of wood. The bourbon is smooth and doesn’t burn after the swallow. Good Quad.

Can pour into pub glass shared by AirForceHops (thanks, Chirs!). Appearance is cloudy, dark brown (like dark iced tea) with nice sparkle, thin ring of beige head and no lacing. Aroma is caramel and nice complementary bourbon. Taste is caramel, brown sugar, raisin, bourbon and wood. Mouthfeel is light-bodied with thin, smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, nice complexity. Restrained complementary barreling. Great.

16 ounce can. Pours a dark red color with a small white head. A big malty nose. Sweet, cherries, toffee, some alcohol, brown sugars, light yeast. Pretty solid.

16 oz can. Murky brown pour with a thin beige head falling into a ring pretty quick. Aroma starts out pretty pungent, with lots of booze, dark fruit, raisin, wood notes. It mellows out as it sits, leaving additional pleasant notes of toffee, coconut, cinnamon. Taste is sweet, savory and a tad overly tart. Lots of raisin, wood, booze and caramel notes. A bit thin and watery. Not bad, but it's pretty boozy and I'm not crazy about the tartness.

On Tap at the Boise brewery/taprom. Cloudy light brown with a redish hue. Thin ring of fine tan bubbles. Toasted malts and sweet pitted fruit. Over ripe raisins etc. Rather light bodied and some cidery notes as well. Belgian yeast character is subtle.
