Best before 30.10.2018. 330 ml bottle. Pours unclear chocolate brown, minimal foamy head. Cocoa, mild coffee, some subtle lemon and hoppy notes, caramel and malts. Dry bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, watery oily texture, low carbonated, dry malty finish. Not a Stout, more a coffee-flavoured Brown Ale. Drinkable.

0.33 bottle from Biervana. Pours cloudy brown with a decent head. Aroma: coffee on top, some overripe fruits. Flavor: very mild bitterness, but great coffee flavor blended in where hops usually sit. Light acidity also balances it out in place of hop bitterness. Mildly sweet. Excellent creative beer and one of my favorite Tilmans!

330ml bottle. Cloudy, mahogany colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Coffee aroma, notes of instant coffee with a sugary touch, caramel malty background, hoppy overtones with hints of orange. Taste is sweet, minimally sugary, caramel malty, notes of instant coffee, hoppy overtones with a touch of orange and mandarine; light and minimally watery. Not overly Stout-ish, neither in appearance nor taste; more a Coffee IPA. Not so bad as such.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, dark amber to brown colour with a short and off-white foamy head. Strong notes of ground coffee beans with a greenish touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Sweetish and slightly roasted malty taste with present notes ground coffee and subtle fruity flavours towards the sweet and mildly bitter finish. Surely Tilmans weakest outpouring so far. 24.IX.18

31-05-18 // 330ml bottle shared. Murky brown. Cold coffee nose. Light bodied. Mild sweet malts. Coffee beams with a very mild coffee fruitiness. Solid but a bit weak.

Flascherl: Hazy, amber coloured, distinctive traces of freshly ground (ersatz-) coffee in the malty-bitter nose; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, nearly medium bodied, pretty soft; roasted (cheap) coffee again in the drier bitter finish. Drinkable, but not Tilman's best idea...

Stark kaffeeartiger Antrunk. Wässrig herb, wenig würzig, moderat bitter. Okay. 7/8/7/7//7

Tap. Hazy brown color with tan head. Aroma is coffe, halitosis, sugar icing. Taste is sweetish caramel, coffee, some fruits. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. The aroma is a letdown, the taste is fine.
