Appearance: Slightly fogged amber with a good head. Aroma and taste: Caramel, candy, bread, floral & herabal hop. Pretty dry. Light plus ending hop bitterness. Mouth feel: Light plus body, soft to average carbonation. Summary: Underrated.

Draft at The Mitre in Blackpool. Medium amber with one finger creamy head. Nothing exciting here, quite the norm for the style. Pretty damn mild, and exceptionally creamy.

Keg @ Fox & Hounds in Urmston. A tawny amber coloured ale with a creamy head. Has a crisp bitterness, not too much flavour with light malts evident. Revisited at The Wheldale, Hotel, Castleford in late 2024. Still a crisp keg pour with a crisp malty-bready bitterness and nice and smooth in the palate.

Keg at the Hexagon Theatre, Reading. A bland and boring bitter - served far to cold. Golden amber with a thick creamy nitro-style head; malty caramel taste; and little in the way of finish - but better, than the alternatives available!

Keg tap at Solberge Hall Hotel during my cousins wedding, 05/10/13. Clear copper golden with a decent sized white head. Nose is light caramel, toasty malt, light fruit tones, a little muted. Taste comprises faint toffee, grain, light fruit notes, apple skin. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitterness and a metallic tang in the finish. Sub par keg bitter.
