Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is malt forward with some roast and moderately strong chocolate notes. Light ashy notes with hints of tobacco. Medium light currant notes with some raisin, fig, and plum notes. Faint orange notes. Pours dark black, but not quite jet black with a medium large, thick, slightly creamy, dark tan head that slowly recedes. Medium lacing with moderately long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with hints of acidity. Light tobacco and leather notes. Moderate roast and a bit more dark chocolate notes. Quite fruity with currant, raisin, fig, plum and berry. Light bourbon and oak note. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low stringency and moderate alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice stout, but the base stout is a bit boring. Very fruity and with a bit of acidity. Kind of odd as the fruit clashes a bit with the darker, roasty stout.

750ml bottle thanks to Steve. Dark brown/black pour, tiny beige head. Pretty typical imperial stout aromas, roast grains, touch of chocolate and hint of coffee. Taste adds a bit of the fruitiness from the oranges and currants. Normal bitterness offset by a bit of the fruity tartness.
