Bottle from last night’s share. Pours out a hazy brownish-orange color. yeasty aroma, some spiciness, but doesn’t come off too sour. taste is also a little subdued, yeast, fruit and some more of the savory spice.

2014 bottle poured. Pours a slightly reddish copper color with a fizzy head. Sour cherries and berry aroma. Smells great. Very fruity, but not sweet by any means. Not really sour in any way, as I had expected. Very winish. Could have guessed it was aged in wine barrels. Tasty beer overall. Really good.

Tap at Crux, Bend, 23/05/13. Lightly hazed amber with reddish hues and a thin off white head. Nose is dark fruit, ginger, spice. Taste comprises light spice, tangy dark fruit, bready malts. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation. Average affair for what it was meant to be, no real sourness for a Flemish red just a little fruit tang.
