Bottle from Kool Keg in Arlington alongside a few other vintages. Lo-ball back at the hotel. Frothy, golden, lacy pour. Pith, tea & big gin florals. Oily upfront, dry, itchy toast, one stop pith, butter, oxidized finish. Not terrible for being so old.

Bottle at Zax. Dark, murky amber body with minimal head. Malt forward aroma, hinting at barley wine. Taste also features sweet, syrupy malts, only bitterness showing up at the very tail end. Gentle warmth arrives late, deep in the gut.
