Pours a very cloudy, orangeishj-yellow, with minimal head. Aroma is fruity and woodsy. Flavor is full of licorice, fruit,, hops, and wood. Alcohol content is well-hidden. Might have been better without the oak aging.

Corked and caged 750 pours with a slightly hazy deep gold to copper body that supports a full light tan head of foam. The aroma pulses with spicy woodiness followed by modest levels of pineapple, mango and tangerine. Ok. Overly woody and spicy but ok. Like the nose the flavor is big and spicy with loads of woodiness. To midway it even picks up resiny hop notes just as citrus and tropical fruit juiciness come to the surface. Wow, big bowl you over woodiness rimmed thinly by juicy hops. You almost have to be in the mood for this it’s so spicy with wood.

On tap at Bar Gernika. Another less than awesome barrel aged brew. Just average on the whole, minor woody notes in smell and flavor. ABV is more of a factor than the barrel, adding tons of warmth. Not bad, but not great either.

Pours a hazy light gold with a big billowy head of foam that lasts and lasts. Incredible head retention. The lacing is also a thing of beauty.
Lots of fruity notes in the smell with lemon, orange, and peach being prevalent in that order. There is plenty of caramel malt that adds a sweet, but not overly, profile to this IIPA. Oak? I notice that woody goodness mostly in the finish, which is firmly on the dry side. There’s also a degree of dankness that’s hitting my palate.
Medium body with medium carbonation. I more that I sip, the more that this grows on me. But not the alcohol. I find that is hidden very well.
Odell did a pretty good job here. ..

On tap at the brewery. Murky, dull orangish brown appearance with a thin khaki head. The aroma exhibits plenty of tannins and a lot of wood. There’s some citrus and tropical fruit, especially in the flavor. A little gooey and high boost. Mango and tangerine notes. Vanilla and wood dominate in the mouth. Woody aftertaste. Just too gooey, high boost, and oaky to enjoy very much.

On tap at bier thirty. Pours out a hazy golden topped with a small head. Nose is tons of oak and a nice amount of tropical fruit. Taste is more of the heavy oak some sweet malts and a nice rounded out hop touch.

On Tap Didn’t get a lot of oak flavor in this. Rich smooth maltiness and good hop flavor. Not overly bitter.
