She's on Nitro! Meet the sister-wife of our classic brew. This nitrogenated version is as chocolatey and easy-drinkin' as the original but even softer and creamier. It's ok to love them both.

12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine in Lakeside, CO. Thanks G-unit! Pours a clear dark garnet color with a tight beige head and great retention. Decent lacing. Fair nitro action. Dark chocolate aroma. Flavor of dark, dry chocolate. Very stout-like. Chalky mouthfeel. Smooth with low carbonation. Decent, but not memorable.

Has very mild Aromas of dark malt, coffee and a little roast. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, lately sweet, losing the coffee and enhancing the roast. Average body with a slightly medicinal finish.

355ml can. Pours a clear dark brown with red hue and a cascading, medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, earth and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and earth with a dry, mild bitter, coffee finish. Light to medium body with a creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Not bad. Easy drinking, but was hoping for more.

Pour is a black with a small tan head. Aroma is a decent roasted malt. Not much beyond that. Flavor is again a decent roasted malt with a creamy nitro mouthfeel. This was ok with the roast malt but I prefer my stouts and porters with a little more body and thickness than this.

From a bottle purchased at Utah State liquor store. Pours a clear dark mahogany with a creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate. Flavors of leather and tobacco. Slightly sweet overall with a smooth finish. Much better than the non-nitro version.

Bottle. Pours clear deep mahogany, small creamy tan head, long lasting with good lacing. Aroma is rich and roasty, hints of tobacco, molasses. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, rich and roasty. Smooth with no lingering bitterness. Nitro treatment gives it a full body and a really creamy mouthfeel. This is actually quite pleasant.
