Draught at the brewpub. Clear deep golden, small head. Solid buttery malt covered in thin layers of grassy hops. Medium bodied with rounded, solid mouthfeel. Medium bitterness.

Draught @ Brauerei Gasthof Ott, Heiligenstadt-Oberleinleitner, Oberfranken/Bayern, Germany. Clear medium to light dark yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, bread, light butter and burnt toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter (malt bitterness) with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (210308)

bottle, thank you MoritzF! Dark golden colour, medium-size head. Malty nose. Fruity and malty flavour withhints of apple and caramel. Dry and pleasantly hoppy finish, long aftertaste.

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a fluffy, slowly lacing, minimal off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet malty, bready and doughy nose with faint hoppy notes. Malty, bready and slightly grainy taste with light hints of caramel; smooth carbonation and mouthfeel; finishes sweet and slightly bitter with a touch of sour dough and cara-malt. A decent, rural Export with Landbier-character.

A light orange beer with a very white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, leading to a slightly bitter end.

On draught at the brewery: Golden coloured, small head; shy malty and hoppy nose; light bitter flavour, not so aromatic, very smooth; bitter-sweet aftertaste; quite bland, nothing special.....
