Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma in the direction of green apples. Taste is very mildly bitter with dough-like undertones, followed up quickly by a watery but unwelcome sourness in the direction of apple vinegar. Finishes a touch grassy and with more apples, perhaps closer to apple cider than vinegar. I don't believe its begun to go off, despite the vinegary hints. It's just ... odd and a lot mellower than a typical German Pils. Drinkable.

Optisch helles Gold, ordentlicher Schaum, gute Perlung. Hopfig in der Nase, im Trunk frisch, leicht hopfig, mäßig bitter, mir zu gefällig und zu einfach. Durchschnittlich.

Hoppy, flowery aroma and flavor. Hints of apple. JHust a tad thin. A bit too perfumed for my likings, but certainly drinkable and very well made.

Bottled 500ml. -from Kaufland Bamberg. Yellow/pale golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, grassy nose. Acidic malty, grassy, light notes of hay and plastic with again some acidity in the finish. Not good.

12th Sep 2018, half-litre on tap in Zapfhahn, Bamberg. Very pale golden body with a white wispy head. Tasteless and odourless, water and just plain poor all round. Sorry but this was the worst beer I had during our six night stay in Bamberg.

500ml Bottle - Bready aroma with notes of grain and lime. Grain, white bread, apple and lime can all be detected in the taste.
