Bottle at home, golden orange beer, small head. Aroma is fruit, hops. Taste is the same, bitter with a hint of sour?, maybe bottle was too old, Best before december 2016, but well not bad, not great

Hazy amber golden colour, white head. Fresh hoppy aroma, malts, light fruity. Sweet malty flavour, light bitter hops. Fresh, hoppy finish. Quite a nice German IPA, could have been a bit more outspoken and bitter though.

Fra flaske på Cafe Abseits, Bamberg 9 Okt 14. Mørk aprikosfarget. Uklar. Bra skum. Aroma av frukt & malt. Smaken er en blanding av krydder & frukt. Delt med Arne, Egil, OleR & Rune.

500ml swing-top bottle, 7.2 % abv, at Cafe Abseite shared with Finn, OleR & co, many thanks to Gerhard. Dotted spots to the glass. Unclear golden body. Very fresh fruit hoppy aroma. Succulent flavours of fruiy hops with lots of grapefruit and bread-like malts beneath. Oily palate. Fine bodied. Soft and delicious refreshing. Like it (Bamberg 09.10.2014).

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey deep golden to amber colour with very small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Piney, resinous, hoppy aroma on sweet-ish, caramalty background. Taste is dry hoppy, piney, minimally resinous, slightly grassy; well matching, minimally sweet malty basis. Very soft, minimally sticky palate. Since Weyermann is famous for malt not hop, it doesn’t make me wonder to detect a lack of (fruity) hoppiness in this IPA; malty basis is very good, maybe slightly too softly carbonated; would definitely support a wide range of hop flavours. Would appreciate a single hop series on the very same basic recipe.

Leicht trübes dunkeloranges Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, fruchtig. Bamberg jolly day 2 25/01/2014. Bottle shared a Cafe Abseits. Clouded dull, orange coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is lemony / pine hop Flavour is clean ferment, cal ale yeast, more lemony pine hops. Berry hop in the finish. Had to run and jump in a taxi.

Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle shared at Cafe Abseits , 25/01/14. Murky orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is toasted malts, bitter orange, tropical fruit notes. Taste comprises orange pith, light spice, earthy hop notes, light pine, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close/ Ok stuff, drinkable, not enough hop presence to be a great.

My bottle had 7.2%. Toller Hopfengeruch, dunkelgelbe Farbe. Der AT ist vollmundig-süffig, toll hopfenaromatisch, aber angenehm herb. der Ng ist lang, hopfenaromatisch mild-herb und ganz leicht süßlich!! Toll!! --> 13/12/13/12
