Bottle shared at the Cafe Abseits tasting during the Post Christmas Bamberg Jolly - January 2014. Pours clear gold with a bubbly, white head. OK stuff overall, light hops, some pithy citrus, piney notes. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Mellow citrusy hops to finish.

Bottle picked up from Weyermann Fanshop, Bamberg and consumed at home Saturday 2nd April 2022 listening to 6Music Festival, it's very, very snowy today. We're cooking Gumbo. Pours dark gold/light amber with a white head, pleasant bitterness, a little floral note, also a touch perfumey, enjoyed this and would have enjoyed it more and provided a better review were it not for the fact that Loz knocked over my glass trying to get an arty snow shot.

Bottle shared by Joes. A bit unclear rusty orange golden color, average off-white head. Smell and taste malts, unfresh. Tastes like a watered down barley wine brewed with unripe hop, too much sugar, worty and a bad unpleasant bitterness.

Amber with a fluffy, frothy head that lingers. Aroma of fruit candy, caramel, citrus. Faint pepper. Taste is bittersweet up front, bitter at the end. Good chewiness. Alcohol is mostly but not completely hidden. Stronger malt profile than most IPAs, but I guess that’s to be expected from a malts manufacturer. Pleasant, but not enough depth to push this one farther.

Tap. Clear deep amber color with creamy white head. Aroma is grassy, dank, even a touch wet hops, toffee, a touch buttery. Taste is buttered caramel, fudge, flowery hops. Oily mouthfeel with low natural carbonation. Surprising!Tap again. Much, much fresher and fruitier than last time. This was very juicy, surprising!
