Bottle. Really, 4.5%ABV? I would have guessed more, because it has lots to offer. White wine character, crispy fizzy carbonizated. Beautiful!

Bottle, many thanks anstei! Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is funk, fruity, hints of Brausetablette. Taste is minerally, fruity, good lacto tartness, very pleasant. Some white wine feeling there. Very calm, but definitely pleasant carbonation. An excellent low-ABV Sour Ale.

750 mL bottle, March 2013, blend 4, drunk 11/28/15.
Clear, coppery blonde color with a moderate amount of white head that sits at cover.
Light, mild brett, floral hops somehow still apparent. Minor oxidation and light lactic acid. Cream of wheat and vanilla. No alcohol or flaws.
Heavy, heavy bile flavor, way too much autolysis. Sharp, flabby and lightly saccharine-like. Obviously sat too long, though it’s still nicely carbonated. Will definitely try again soon w a fresh batch. It’s strange how variable Jester Kings beers age. Some are unbelievably pristine at 3-4 years old and others range from undrinkable to just ok at ~2 years old.

Draught, almost no head, mellow yeasty aroma with some fruit and just a funky hint, flowery flavor, medium shrubby bitterness and a bit of vinegary sourness that becomes stronger, bitter but not too hoppy. Good.

(bottle) hazy, pale yellow colour with a small white head; aroma of citrus, stewed fruit, then funk; smooth palate; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter and sour finish
