355ml Bottle - Gold/amber with a foamy head. Apple, cinnamon and malt feature in the aroma. Malty and sweet taste with apple, toffee and cinnamon standing out. Refreshing, but seems a bit artificial.

355 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours clear dark golden with a rather small frothy bubbly off-white head that doesn’t leave much trace while dissipating. Smell is sweet and perfume-like and is dominated by red apples, burnt caramel, cinnamon and cardamom combined with some slightly funky apple cider and apple cider vinegar notes, hay and wheat crackers. Taste is sweet and bitter with overripe apples, bread, hazelnuts, cinnamon, wheat, apple cider vinegar and hay. Mouthfeel is round, slightly creamy, tiny tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and slightly sour with apples, cinnamon, bread and nuts. I find the apples to play too much of a role. Smells like a very perfume-like apple/cinnamon tea I once had at home and tastes more like a so-so cider than a beer...

Pour is a hazy yellow with no head. Aroma is a nice apple, cinnamon and spice. Flavor is a lot weaker. Some apple but very watery and has a chemical aftertaste. Smells like apple pie tastes like artificial apple flavored water.

Aroma: This smells a whole heck of a lot like an apple cider with a cinnamon stick in it
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a small fizzy white head and no lacing
Flavor: Tastes of cinnamon and apple cider, fairly sweet, cinnamon spice, and some light wheat
Palate: The body is fairly light with a rather fizzy carbonation, and a somewhat clean mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This one was not what I was expecting at all. It really did remind me of when I use to drink hot apple cider with a cinnamon stick in it. This one is more apple cider than it is traditional beer flavors. It is also a little overly carbonated, which hurts the drinkability. Part of me wants to throw this one in the microwave and see how it tastes hot. It actually tastes pretty good, but it doesn't taste like much like beer.

12oz bottle split with Khan poured into a shaker. Pours a clear light gold with about a finger of white head. Aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg with minimal apple scent. Taste is about the same, but the apple is barely discernible because the cinnamon and nutmeg so overpower everything. Medium bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, I’m kinda disappointed. It’s almost like Shipyard took 50 gallons of Pumpkinhead and threw a few apples in there. Pass...

What a complete joke from Shipyard. If you had a blind taste test with this brew and Pumpkinhead, you really couldn’t tell the difference. The cinnamon and nutmeg overpower any other aspect of this brew. It’s not really anything i would drink again.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours light amber. Slight whitish head. Cinnamon is the primary aroma - but the effect is something like a cold baked apple. Med minus body. Flavor is cinnamon/sweet with some apple skin, and there is a bit of skin astringency. Calling it cinnamon beer would be more on point.

Wonderful apple, honey, and cinnamon aroma, even a little bready. Clear amber, thin head. Drier and breadier flavor. Apple and nutmeg flavor, quite artificial. A kiss of blueberry in the finish. I rather enjoyed the pumpkin beers but there is something not quite right in this beer and I call shenanigans. I do hope that artificial flavorings were not employed here.

Pours slightly hazy orangish color with off white head. Aromas of apples and cinnamon. Tastes like liquid apple pie (from McDonalds, not a delicious homemade one), cinnamon and apples with some maltiness. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Sort of a hybrid beer/cider; interesting.
