Trockener, stark malziger Beginn. 10/11/10/11/10/10

0,33l bottle at home courtesy of SinH4, big thanks. BB 29. July 2019. dark brown color, small tan head. smells of coffee, earthy, some bitter chocolate, light sweetness, bit ashy. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of ash, tobacco, bit smoky, light bacon, peppery, spices, light fruity notes. finishes light to medium bitter with notes of earth, peppery notes and some tobacco. decentish, taste notes are a bit all over, lacking a clear flavour profile. drinkable none the less.

Courtesy of SinH4, I think. Pours darkest brown with almost no head. Aroma is chocolate, molasses, booze, with some light smoke. Body is medium, lightly sweet, but strongly carbonated. Chocolate and some milk flavours, but quite bitter at it. Sweet palate, rather light. In balance with flavours, but despite the ABV it still strongly feels like an imperial stout. Good!

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle at Best Western Woerden. Clear, very dark brown to black with a frothy, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of milk chocolate, coffee and some hazelnut. Quite sweet, malty, moderately taste of dark chocolate, coffee, some and a touch of licorice, followed by a medium long, rather roasty-bitter and slightly earthy-dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Bottle shared @ hotelroom tasting shared with Fonefan, SinH4 and Zlotta after Borefts Beer Festival Day 1. Dark brown color with a red hue coming through when held into the light, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, soft roast, a bit dry finish, lightly sweet malty hints, nice moderately bitter finish. Quite nice.

Bottle. Black color with tan head. Aroma is chocolate, lacto, strawberries, some off-flavours as well. Taste is chocolate, lacto, earthy, leathery. Medium carbonation, moreish. Aftertaste is a bit estery. A bit simple, but quite tasty.

Black with little brown head. Aroma is cocoa, slight fish, chocolate, roast, halitosis. Taste is stale sweetness with some cocoa syrup, nuts, a bit citrus sourness. Ok. I dont like those sour stouts.
