330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, forthy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Herbal-grassy, hoppy aroma, earthy hints of woodruff, eucalyptus, minimally husky, malty background with a protein touch. Taste is slightly dry, herbal-grassy hoppy, hints of woodruff and eucalyptus, a touch of menthol, husky malty background. Nice.

Bottle. Very much Polaris aroma indeed. Hazy green golden, medium mellow body, raw hop on the palate, typical Polaris mouthwash, almost drowns hayish malt, light hop burn finish too much for a summer beer imo.

Yellow with little white head. Aroma is grassy hops, some bonbon, pretzel. Taste is slightly sweet with lots of grassy spiky hops. Quite drinkable with gletschereis bonbon and more grass in the finish. A bit watery. Still nice.

Bottle at Moritz's. Nose is citrus, some gletschereis. Palate is citrus, bitter orange, grass. A bit too modern for my taste

Bottle. Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is grassy, biscuity, Gletschereis Polaris hops. Taste is grassy, biscuity, Gletschereis, biscuity malts, yeasts. Silky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Solid, a bit too modern maybe.

Fläschla (@Getränkefeinkost Friedrichshain): Pale golden, hazy, bigger loose ’n stable white head, mild lemony nose, some well covered exotic fruits presumably detectable, delicate grainy base; mild to moderate bitter flavour with a certain residual sweetness, light bodied and soft; slightly lingering smooth lemony-bitter finish. Pleasant Sommerbier... BAVARIAN BIER #4000!

Muffig grasiger Geruch, Polaris eben. Erhöhte Karbonisierung, trocken bitter. Dann geschmacklich schnell abflachend. Naja. 10/8/8/7//7

(bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a blond and firm mid-sized foamy head. Herbal-spicy and resiny hoppy aroma with mildly fruity accents, as well as discreetly grainy malty notes. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry and slightly grainy malt character with chalky, mineralic notes, backed by herbal, slightly minty and subtle fruity hops, lingering into the dry and moderately bitter finish with mildly ethereally notes. Clean and refreshing Kellerbier. 14.VI.16
