Cask@GBBF2007. Dark ruby red coloiur, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel, wood and some earth. Flavour is the same and also very soapy notes. Flavour lacks the caramelly hints too.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Chestnut, lasting beige head. Some dark toffee. Little bit thin and dull. OK it’s a mild. Some coffee, not a great aroma, but the mouth feel is ok. Too much caramel.

Drank regularly on cask throughout the county over the years. Dark with a creamy off white head. Whilst I have always found this to consistent and perfectly fine I have to say for me it’s just a bit too thin and lacking in flavour.

[Cask at GBBF 2004] A brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel. The aroma is roasted malty on a slightly sour background due to the low alcohol content - which also gives it a thin body. Nothing wrong - just boring.
