Good cocoa porter. Doesn’t hit you over the head with fudge or gooey chocolate syrup; the cocoa notes are interlaced with hints of roast and dark fruit, and a bitter chocolate finish keeps things nice and dry. Tasty pint.

Can thanks to Dave! Pours near black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy chocolate and dark grains with a decent amount of roasted malts supporting. Flavor has a good amount of chocolate with some dark grains and a growing roasted malt presence.

12oz can from Beer52. A glossy peaty brown colour with a tight caramel coloured head; aroma of caramel and chocoalte; light herbal bitterness to start, then a sweet chocolate body; before a smooth dry woody finish with some chocolate notes. A stasifying porter.

Great dry porter with proper cacao, milk chocolate and vanilla notes. Balanced, easy drinking and smooth. Good example of the style

Black pour with decent head and lacing. Some cocoa, some roast. Comes together pretty decently. Bittersweet finish with some caramel like Mars bars. Can.

Can. Deep brown body with a frothy tan head that rapidly diminishes. Aroma of roasted malt, cocoa, light metallic, ash, earthiness. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. A bit of a chalky finish. Taste of roasted coffee and chocolate.
