A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a a fine white head. Aroma is doughy wheat, earthy saison yeast,, banana, clove. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, caramel, orange, spicy clove, little buttered bread. Palate is slightly tangy, moderate carbonation. Ok. But weird.

Keg at HL3, 01/09/17. Clear golden topped with a decent off white swirl. Nose is earthy, candied fruits, spice, straw, yeast esters. Taste comprises sweet and sour notes, floral tones, candy, toffee, hibiscus, spice, lemon rind, yeast trickle, moscavado sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok off beat saison but doesn't really offer the refreshment I crave from the style.

keg at Beermoth Cafe. It pours clear golden with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, fresh, fragrant, quite belgian, banana, citrus, peel and candy. The taste is crisp, bitter - sweet, lemon peel, grapefruit, green banana, flump, touch of candy, icing suga, booze and hay with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent enough stuff.

Keg at the Bottle Shop - Bermondsey. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy, white head. The aroma has a little yeast, lightly toasted bread, touches of ripening orange. Light-medium sweet flavour with a strong, oily coconut character, more bread, background citrus and caramel, low bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with modest alcohol warmth, further smooth coconut, bready malts, soft yeast. Fun stuff.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a totally opaque copper to gold body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up sweetened wheat and spices as well as peach, pear and apricot. The taste delivers thick saison malty sweetness heading into sweetened wood and saison spices. It tapers off towards the finish leaving mild sweetened lingering spiciness. Overall this comes across sweet and ponderous. With less sweetness this could be pretty amazing as I think the wood could be a bigger player and make is crisper and snappy.
