Bottle thanks to Eric. Pours black with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is roast, dark chocolate, bourbon, wood. Thick body, chewy, roast, dark chocolate, wood, vanilla, nice sweetness, really enjoyed this one.

At a tasting, thanks,brown stable brown creamy head, opaque black color, aroma of vanila and coconut, fruitiness and cakey maltiness, favor of dark bitter sweet chocolate with hints of roasted coffee, bread and fruit,. Very nice but a bit one dimensional.

Deutlich malziger Antrunk, , schokoladig, weich bitter. Sehr mild alkoholisch, deutlich würzig bleibend. Intensiv malzig-süßer Nachhall, holzig, karamellig. Nuancen von Vanille. 10/11/12/12/11/12

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Vova. Black with no head. Great aroma of chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, cookies, a bit of booziness. Sweet flavor with chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, a bit of soy sauce, wood, and light booziness. Quite full-bodied, quite rounded. Really good. 8/3/8/4/15=3.8

Fast schwarzes Bier mit einer ordentlichen bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch holzig, Vanille, reife Früchte, Kaffe, alkoholisch. Geschmack mild röstmalzig, Kaffee, Vanille, Bourbonfass.

Black body, with a medium, creamy, tanish head.
Aroma of booze, bourbon, coconut, vanilla, wooden barrel, some dark fruits.
Taste is very boozy, with about the same aromas and dry coffee.
Full, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes boozy, astringent, with dry coffee.
Enjoyable aromas, but too much booze. The alcohol is just everywhere. Otherwise I enjoyed the intense Bourbon and dark malt notes a lot.

at Braukunst Live, Munich. I think from bottle. black color, medium coffee colored head. smells very malty sweet, liqueurish, some licorice. full body, very alcoholic, wooden notes, sweet liqueur, molasses, oily, alcoholic sweet finish. alcohol is too domination for me, it overshadows the other flavors too much.

Opaque very dark brown to black color, the slightest dark red to red-brown glare coming through, medium sized light brown head that lasts for quite a while and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is very nice: malts, lightly roasted malts, bourbon, slightly vanilla, lightly liquor. Impressive! Taste malts, roasted malts, firm bourbon though not too much, some vanilla, liquor, wood. Wow! Medium body and carbonation. Very impressive! Love it.
