Perhaps you’ve heard of a Imperial IPA masked as a Christmas Beer in a silly attempt to change a beloved tradition for sweet Holiday brews. This Imperial IPA is actually a no BS beer – truthfully very bitter and in all earnestly a bit on the heavy side. All in all brewed for all occasions – celebrating your firstborn, sending the kids away for summer camp, it’s Monday and this beer is scoring 100.

Backlog September 2011. Unclear orange body under a nice, creamy off-white head. Aroma has grapefruit, pine and citrc fruits. Taste is quite bitter with citric fruit, pine and sweet malt. Nice classic IIPA.

Can (Happy Holidays 2022 bottom of can--Before During & After Christmas IPA) pour. It's a murky light brown-dark yellow with lots of white floatie chunks, decent sparkle, 2-finger off-white foamy head with good retention and tons of lacing. Aroma is strong lemon, grapefruit, and stone fruit. Taste follows aroma with addition of late biscuit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation, no sign of alcohol and finish as taste with lingering dryness. Overall, not super complex but good strength to aroma and flavor. Not great to look at.

Fairly dry, with initial notes of papaya, grapefruit pith, peach, and guava, leading to a firm mineral bitterness on the back end and a touch of boozy warmth. Finishes with citrus oil and the slightest bit of lactose-vanilla. Pretty good.

Poured from 11.2 fl oz bottle (All Occasions IPA). Brownish orange with beige head, fair bit of sediment. Mild earthy caramel malt, slightly doughy, with grassy hops that are quite dry tasting.

Clear orange color, small white head. Piney-woody, a bit herbal hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Bitter front, resiny, a bit fruity hoppyness. Crisp. Yeah, all occasions IPA it is, lacks in depth (note: I had Nogne O IPA before this).
