Eins ist klar: Faust Kräusen ist naturtrüb. Der Charakter des kräftig-goldenen Spezialbiers ist mild, frisch, vollmundig und malzblumig, mit feiner Hopfenblume und leichtem Honigduft.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy golden with a white head. Fruity, sweetish malt aroma. Medium body, sweetish malty with a whiff of honey. Fresh, hoppy finish. Decent. 120207

Außerdem in beiden Teilen würzig. So, genug, dieses faule Aroma bringt mich noch um! Neutest bei Gelegenheit! Test vom 25.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,5,6,5,8,5 - 5,70

Bottle at the Düsseldorf Gathering. Hazy, yellow body. Aroma of flowers, lemon, sourish apples. Lightly bitter, moderately sweet flavour. Ok balance, but not so special.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden coloured, medium-sized white head, slowly diminishing to a foamy layer; distinctive sweet-bready nose with a fruity-yeasty and resinous hoppy touch; moderate bitter-sweet llavour, quite fizzy MF; sweet-resinous hoppy - a bit adstringent - finish. A tasty, chewy Zwickel............

(swing top bottle) Hazy, light golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Slightly sweet grainy and yeasty nose with a strong but not unpleasant orange-citrus aroma (reminds me of the German instant drink powder C-Frisch from the 80ties). Sweet and slightly bitter flavoured, grainy malty taste with an orange-fruitiness; medium bodied, lively carbonated mouthfeel; dryish, light bitter, minimal tart and malty finish with light notes of hops. Quaffable beer.

Massive foamy head on top of cloudy orange-golden hue. Fruity apple and apricot nose. Yeasty champagne dryness, subtle fruit notes, grainy wellrounded body, grassy and fruity aftertaste. Wow, great beer!

Bottled. Looks delicious: Pale orange, cloudy, rich creamy head. Intense fruity apple aroma. Dry with rounded mouthfeel and stable maltiness. Grassy, really bitter finish. Aromatic and very well balanced. A world class lager!!
