Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Black, small head. Sheer licorice aroma. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Snough and licorice dominates, light resiny bitterness. Gets a little edgy.

9/12/11/13/12/12

Drunk to celebrate my rating number 20,300. Bottled. A pitch black beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, sweet and roasted malt, and a bit of soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and wood, leading to a dry, alcoholic, and roasted finish. Thanks pinball for sharing.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours an opaque deep black with a creamy and dense beige cappuchinoish head leaving a little lacework. Hard roast aroma, a little butter and vanilla. Solid body, hard roast malt, some raisins and a somewhat rough bitter finish. The bottom fermenting yeast makes this a little rough. 230311
