Tap at the Paulaner Brewpub, Munich, 18th September 2023. Pours a light straw golden colour. Aroma is citrus, yeast and spice. Taste is pleasant, bitter, light spice, some yeast and spice

Tap at the brewpub, 2017 version which is called "Goldenes Theresienbier" and seems to be rather pale, 14.5°P, 6.3%vol. Hazy yellow-golden color with white head. Aroma is bready yeasts, citrus, herbal hops, a touch sulphur. Taste is bready, citrusy, grassy, earthy old world hopspice, sweetish biscuity malts below, a touch honey, a bit mineralic, moderately sweet finish. High soft carbonation. Quite pleasant, but the carbonation is a bit too high - without less carbonation it would be very süffig.

Keg at the brauhaus. Pours clear golden, nose is cereal, grainy, hay, taste is sweet, cereal, chewy toffee.

Tap(@Brewhouse Kapuzinerplatz):Golden, hazy, small and stable white foamy layer; grainy-fruity nose with a yeasty and a mineralic touch; moderate sweetish flavour with a very moderate bitterness, sticky a bit, light to medium bodied;; slightly lingering grainy-yeasty finish. Not great…

Hazy amber with a thin head. Yeasty, vaguely caramelly aroma. Largely toasty fest-type. Good character and complexity.

Rerate at the brewpub, now Goldenes Theresienbier. Indeed light hazy golden, eggshell lace. Good classic Hallertau notes with aromatic play. Chewy, fat fruity backbone, good balance, fairly Moreish. Old 2004 rating: 7 5 7 4 13 Bready malt aroma with bitterhop overtones. Cloudy orange/red, brown creamy, lacing head. Bready and yeasty, very slight alcohol zing - unobstrusive -fruity peach aftertaste. Firm body. Refreshing and well-crafted Märzen.
