Light brown without head. Aroma is clove, grapes, rum, honey, syrup. Taste is incredibly sour and very alcoholic, with a smoky passion fruit finish. Quite spicy as well. Very oily and incredibly heavy in the mouth. Very phenolic but not ugly and overloaded. Phew that was interesting.

Cloudy amber, quite viscous. Peach and strawberry liquor aroma. Salty acidic entry, quite dry despite the viscosity, citric acid, fruit/berry to the back. Very interesting.

Bottle, many thanks TTT! Rather clear deep golden color with white late-appearing head. Aroma is grapes, caramel, fudge. Taste is grapes, citric, balsamico, fudge, salty lemon. Oily mouthfeel, quite vineous. Fighting a lot between sweet and sour, late carbonation there. Awesome, more interesting, but less drinkable than #1, and like #1, a truly unique experience.

Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Pours clear amber with a small head. Aroma is strongly lactic, milk, bitter almond, mint, solubles. Body is heavy, salty, lots of umami, very sour, lactic, fruity, but while extreme in all directions, all well balanced. Soft carbonation. Long salty intense palate, warming, boozy, but still very balanced. An incredible beer, a great, great experiment. Many thanks, Herr Schneider!
