(Draught at Zly Casy, Prague, 29 July 2011) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with bread, dried fruit and hints of toast. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of bread, citrus, toast, a touch of honey and a grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Nice one.

Bottle at the Pivkan festival in Zagreb. Poured agolden body with a medium-small white head. Malty and dusty nose, ordinary sweetish malty taste, light standard hoppy bitterness. Not bad, better than the rest of the line, just didn’t find it all that exciting.

Bottled, from a store in Prague. Slight honey flavor with full, rich malt, just a bit too sweet. Good, but could use a touch more hopping in order to get some balance.

Draught at U Kuděje, Olomouc, Clear golden, small firmh ead. Aroma of grain and honey. Medium sweet and medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. The honey interacts with the grainy malt in a good way, and does not produce any vegetable off-flavours which is common in honey beers. Finishes with slight resiny bitterness.

Bottled. Clear deep golden, firm head. Evident hay-like saaz hop aroma. Very sweet, sugart and caramely. The honey flavour goes quite well with the saaz hops, but also makes itmuch too sweet.
