A stout brewed with coffee aged in Traverse City Whiskey Co. first use barrels. The coffee used as an addition to this beer is from Water Street Coffee Joint in Kalamazoo. Vanilla beans were added to each cask during the aging process. The result is a stout with soft oak, mocha, spicy and nutty characteristics with a big vanilla finish.

On tap at at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Pours black with a brownish head. Nice chocolate, coffee, some vanilla in the middle, some dark fruit, sweet with bitterness in finish. Oily, bit warming. Medium+ bodied.

Keg at the Beavertown Extravaganza, day two, 09/09/17. Black with a well appointed tan head that clears to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, spice, roast malts, toffee fudge, coffee whisper. Taste comprises chocolate flakes, light coffee, tiramisu, vanilla, dark fruit whisper. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close Solid well joined up impy stout.

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is bourbon, chocolate, raisins, earthy, nutty. Taste is the same, with a noticeable booze note. Oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Very nice and balanced!

On tap at Blue Moon. Pours black with an earthy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong vanilla note with strong roasted malts supporting and hints of dark grains, whiskey and a bit of almond backing. Flavor starts with strong vanilla and is supported by roasted malts, dark grains, almond and whiskey.
