(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a fluffy, not very persistent but lacey beige foamy head. Sweet and toast-malty aroma with caramel, sugar beet and shy traces of chocolate. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a medium carbonation. Molassy toasty malty base with light notes of caramel; sweet and light-bitter finish with caramel and shy herbal hoppy notes. A bit sweet but nevertheless likeable dark Bock (12.07.08).

500ml bottle at Quinns, Camden. Ruby/brown with thin beige head. Decent bock, nice choc, bit grainy. Little bit of sour damson fruit. Sourness keeps it in check. Pretty good and tasty. Nice fruit.

Test vom 2.4.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,9,8,10,9,9 - 8,80
