Bottled (from K Market Kamppi, Helsinki, thanks Lövis!). Hazy orange colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is mild tartness, spices, some sweet malts, wheat and wood. Flavour is a bit spicy, some floral notes, mild yeast and some bready notes. Quite caramelly notes in the finish.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, fruity, earthy and grassy. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a pepper and yeasty finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - batch 478, from K Supermarket Kamppi, 20120920) The beer poured deep amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized, white and fizzy. Aroma had fruitiness, spices, malts and sourness. Palate was quite thin bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness. spices, sourness, musty maltiness, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, sour and bitter. A very saison-like beer. I would have preferres less musty taste and fuller body but otherwise this was a very good beer.

Flaske fra ICA, batch 478, (brygget 25.5.12): Højt skum som varer og flott gylden farge. Mye liv i glasset. Tydelig belgisk aroma i det jeg skjenker, krydder og gjær med frisk citrus. Smaken har fin blanse mellom sødme, syre og bitterhet. Lett å drikke. Et riktig så godt butikkøl som jeg kommer til å kjøpe flere ganger. Fra fat på Cardinal des-12: lite karbonert og med en metallisk, ufrisk ettersmak jeg ikke husker fra flaskeversjonen.

On tap at HaandFestival 2012. A hazy, golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. It’s a hazy, golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. Wheat malt, citrus peel, coriander and some generic spicyness in the aroma. The flavor has a nice bitterness, with citrus peel and some spices up front. Pale malts in the back, and a pleasant bitterness towards the end. Dry on the palate, a bit hard on the carbonation maybe, medium body. Except for the carbonation level, it’s a pleasant and easy drinkable thirst quencher. A real summer beer. 120504

Batch 478, Brygget 25.05.12 - Pours light orange with a small white head. Aroma of grass, floral hops, yeast, farmhouse and some tart fruits. Taste is fruity and yeasty with some spicy, floral farmhouse notes and grassy hops. Finish is slightly malty with spicy, yeasty and fruity notes. Nice, quite tasty and well balanced session blonde.

Aroma is rather nice with fruits, citron, some sourness, earthy notes and hints of grassy hops. Aroma is slightly sour with earthy notes and distant leathery notes. Finishes somewhat tart with citron and hints of orange leaving a slight sticky feeling in my mouth. The citron is a bit too dominant in the flavour. Still refreshing and good, reminds me of Fantôme Saison.

Sampled @ HaandBryggeriet Beer festival 2012. Golden body with a small, but thick white head. Citric fruity aroma with some lemon, grass and banana. Flavor is citric fruity as well, some yeast, bread and some bitterness. Medium body and medium aftertaste. OK, refreshing and pretty decent for a 4,5% ABV beer.
