0,33 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Clear dark copper in the glass, one finger head. Smell? Nothing. Taste starts with roasted malt, soft fruity, but watery. Some allmonds and nuts. Hints of dark fruits. Not very complex. Little bit alcoholic in the second part. Maybe worth the low price. But nothin´ more.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, brown colour with a beige and medium-sized foamy head. Slightly toasted mlty nose with notes of caramel, chestnuts and sour dough. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Dark and mildly toasted malty base with doughy notes, caramel, subtle fruity accents and a whiff of grassy hops towards the slightly sweet and restrained bitter finish. Does not invite you to open a second one. 26.II.17

33cl bottle. Pours clear orange brown colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of red malt, dark malt, some chocolate. Taste of strong dark malt, red malt, some fruits, caramel, okay!

Bottle (@Netto Delicatessen Germany): Amber to deep amber coloured, clear, small, loose and quickly collapsing off-white head; mild caramelly-toasty nose, barely detectable traces of herbal hops in the second row; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering and drier bitter-sweet finish with traces of caramel. All in all not a bad beer, which is neither "as black as ebony" nor shows it " light notes of chocolate". Drinkable...

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from local ’Netto’, best before June 2017. Clear, very dark red with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, minimally fruity aroma of caramel, sugar, some cardboard and hints of raisins. Moderately sweet, malty and minimally fruity taste of caramel, sugar, some raisins and hints of cardboard, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, a bit metallic and stale finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. At least drinkable, way more interesting than the other two beers, still not great.
