Bottled at PBF. Clear golden, almostno head. Fruity nose with the slightest hint of almond hemp. Sweet and fruity, light-medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Finishes with low bitterness. Understated.

Bottled (PBF, BB 04/2009). Golden color, not much head, small floating particles. Light grassy and maize sweetish aroma. Boring grainy and grassy flavor. Sweetish maltyness. I can’t trace hemp. Poor.

09/01 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! Golden bodied with small head. Weaker flower malty and some grass hop aroma. Similar, a bit malty flavor with touch of grass hops and some spice (might be hemp). Unfortunately, it was watery as many beers we tried today, resulting in almost no aftertaste. Nothing bad here as well, but all the components are so weak they can’t make a good whole.

Bottled(500ml). -Nothing special here. Golden coloured, small white head, odd lactic nose. Malty, light grassy and butterscotch with some mild hoppiness in the finish. Also touch of wet paper.

0.5l bottle courtesy of ogivlado who brought it from Austria (thanks!), shared with him and heavy Golden body, medium sized thick white head that went away fast. Weak malty nose, with some veggies. The taste starts with some maltiness and honey, some herbal acidity (not hemp I reckon), noticeable sweet butteriness. Subtle. Some lemony-bitter hoppiness. Nothing special, just ok.

From a bottle in Wien, 2006. Medium gold, leaning towards amber. Very fine head. Tangy, fruity, bitterish aroma. Good malt in the nose as well; a touch sweet. Good malt flavor, a touch sweet, with good hemp bitterness and fruitiness as well. You can taste the difference to hops, although it is not that remarkable. It is medium bodied, well carbonated, very fruity and spicy. Finish is rather oily and malty, while also bitter, and here it seems quite different to hops. A really great beer that is up there with the best Bavarian and Austrian pilsners. Is not quite as different as I would have liked, though, to normal hopped beer.

500ml bottle at Bohemian, Deal. Gold with thick off white head. Slight pukey aroma, not as good as the pils, but the hoppy finish really stings the tongue, nettley. Finishes better than it starts. Fine. Interesting finish.

Metallic-golden beer, with just off-white small head. Creamy/grainy nose, sweet malts, even a bit toasted. Creaminess even goes to soft white cheese or coffee milk. Fresh grassy-garden herbs onset, but with immediate quite sweet (pale) malt underbuild, honey-ish. There’s a highly baffling palatal flavour of fresh oyster juice, but extremely feeble all the same. Rather light, watery finish. Not bad, but I still have to sample the first hempbeer, that adds something to the beerflavour palette. Thanks to the Letzeburger beerhunter!
