Bottle shared during RBWG 2016 - thanks to P Hale. Pours thick black with a creamy brown head. The nose has some tangy dark malts, dark fruits, berries, chocolate, moderate roast. Medium to heavy sweet flavor, a little syrupy, with dusty cocoa, stewed dark berries, ash. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, more tangy berries, oily chocolate. Interesting stuff. Not bad.

Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle poured into a glass. Black with dark brown highlights and small light brown head. Aroma is cheap coffee, medium/thick medium, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is chocolate, some coffee, and some hazelnuts.

Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours black with large tan head that lasts, lots of carb, sticky lacing. The aroma is roast, chocolate, wood. Medium mouth, very rich, dark chocolate, strong roast finish, very bitter, very good.

Bottle from 2014 - thanks Bob! Pours opaque black with a large dark brown head, creamy and slow to dissipate with nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is coffee, roasty and ashy. Light sweet, light bitter. Full bodied and tasty.
