Cheers Mat, shared on 23rd Aug 2014 at the Midlands meet. Good amber hue to the body, with a bit of an off-white head. Nice blend of aromas and flavours, caramel front with a citrus overtone throughout which gave a dry and bitter finish. Certainly the best beer I have had from Switzerland so far in my drinking life.

Final bottle at the inaugural Midlands Bottle Share @ Richie’s Hop Palace. Courtesy of myself, bought from Drinks of the World in Winterthur. Pours deep amber with frothy white head. Surprisingly hoppy taste, vibrant citrus with a bracing bitterness. Despite the comments below I quite liked this.

Bit flat version of an American pale ale. Thin body of malt, with some mild hopping. Needs more power.

Bottled 500ml@VWPBF Slightly hazy orange color, good cloudy white head. Pineapple, hayish aroma. Medium-bodied. Woody hoppyness, fruity, some vegetables, mild bitterness. A bit weak but drinkable.

Bottled@vPBFII (thanks Bov!). Golden colour, mediumsized creamy beige head. Aroma is caramel, some tartness, some mild fruits and mild grass. Flavour is quite sour and tart wood along with some malts and quite fruity and floral hops. 6 3 6 3 12

Bottled (Thanks CueSheet & SADESA!). Deep amber colour, beige head. Aroma is biscuit malts, some floral and friuty notes along with bit grassiness and sweet malts. Flavour is very similar with nice bitterness to it. Very balanced and refreshing. 8 4 8 4 16.

50 cl bottle @ wPBF, BBE 06/2013
Aroma is soapy with some peaches, grainy notes and hay. Also hints of caramel. Flavour is sweetish with fruity notes, some caramel, biscuits and gooseberry bush. Too messy and yeasty. Also the tartness does not fit here.

Bottle (kindly donated by Quack-Duck!): Light amber coloured, hazy to cloudy, mid-sized "dirty" white head, herbal-hoppy nose with a distinctive bready-fruity background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium-bodied, quite soft; lingering piney-hoppy finish with a malty counterpart. Good....
