Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 13B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 5070-2. AROMA: roasted aroma with sweet notes of chocolate and some coffee. no hop aromas. no diacetyl. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color and opaque. Average brown head with medium-low retention. TASTE: nice flavour of chocolate and roasted coffee with a sweet background. low bitterness and a sweet finish. PALATE: medium-low body with a lack of creaminess. medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a very nice sweet stout with strong aromas and flavours of chocolate and coffee. the body should be more full.
