Hercules Double IPA is not for the faint of heart. It is, however, fit for the gods. Hercules delivers a huge amount of hops from start to finish. Its hefty backbone of nutty, malty sweetness balances its aggressive hop profile.

Bottle. Transparent palrу amber color with good white foam. Aroma: citrus, fruity, fortified wine, light alcohol, like a good perfume. Taste with mild sweetness of nectar and the lightest white wine, good hop bitterness, pleasant malt body, light peppery aftertaste. Excellent!

Appearance is a hazy, orangey amber, a one finger light beige creamy head. Aroma- quite a lot of caramel, malty sweetness, malt bread, hops, fruit juice, hint of lemon. Much more malt-forward than other IIPAs. Taste- bitter, juicy hops, solid malt backbone- bread, hint of toffee and even sugary raisin, alcohol definitely detectable in this one. Sticky mouthfeel- sugary hop resins, and a very long, bitter, resiny finish. Very interesting IPA.

Growler from Joe Canal’s in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Pours a honey gold color with a large bubbly beige head. Piney grapefruit hop nose. Upfront, flavor is huge of citrus, with hints of tangerine, lemon and grapefruit. Futher sips yield a caramel malt backbone with notes of pine and more citrus. For a Double IPA at 10% ABV, this drinks very smooth and easy. Midtaste brings earthy malt with resiny hops. Spicy bitter hop finish. Big and flavorful, a nice IIPA and a must try.

"Accidental" target at Standard Market. Warm alcohol smell brings good tidings of much hops. Alcohol comes in cost, a bit hot, and it makes the hops taste like they might be aging out like a cellared 90-Minute. while still a great strong IPA, in this case the taste can’t match up to the expectation of the nose.

Anaranjada, con apenas espuma. Aroma fuertemente lupulado cítrico y piña, y a caramelo y malta. Poderosa en boca, tono alcoholico general y baja carbonatación, y sabor inicialmente malteado que pronto evoluciona a fuerte lupulo floral y de naranja muy muy amarga.
