Bottle from Appel Getränkemarkt in Moosburg and consumed at home Saturday 6th February 2021 listening to Shame - Drunk Tank Pink and preparing a selection of small Italian snacks for a Zoom chat with Scott and Mandy. This pours dark gold with a white head, soft mouthfeel, wheatiness is backed up by a nice almost lemon tea flavour, subtle but noted. Just looked at bottle and BBD is 11/02/21 so quite close to it's expiry date so perhaps not as fresh but it's fine, I'm happy with this.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a decent white head. Wheaty and citrus with some decent orange notes.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with white head. Aroma is dough, some overripe bananas, some nutmeg, cloves, bubblegum. Taste is mineraly, a bit dusty, cheesecake, nutmeg, a touch of fussle oils. Silky mouthfeel. Solid Urweisse, its character goes a bit into the Schneider direction.

Amber with medium white head. Aroma is apples, overripe banana, maybe clove, some deep malty toffee. Taste is full bodied medium sweetness with some sour yeasty stuff and average tartness. Slightly dusty finish, not exactly rounded. Still quite good.

Re-rate from bottle, Roth version. Nice full wheat and lime cheesecake aroma with light salt. Cloudy orange, white layer. Earthy, salty entry, good full wheat notes, restrained banana, vanilla, spice, minerals retronsal. Nice. Old rating: 7 3 7 3 13Citric/acidic nose. Cloudy yellow, big white head. Subdued yeasty banana flavor, hop aftertaste. Lightbodied. Nice, but somehow I had expected a little bit more from a homebrewers recipe.
