Pours clear pale orangish color with white head. Fruity aroma with some oak and alcohol. Sweet apple and grape flavor with some oak, yeast and alcohol. A little boozy. Very white wine like. Medium body with moderate carbonation. A decent beer with a hefty price tag.

Sampled at Pizzeria Paradiso in Alexandria VA. Woah! This was fantastic. Smooth and enjoyable. Poured a clear golden color with a small, wispy head. Aroma was agave, sweet biscuit malts, honey notes. Touch of oak in there too. Sweet fruit notes, hop bitterness. Alcohol pretty well masked in this one, no serious "warming" feeling to it after consumption. Great.

Draft at Crunchy’s, East Lansing. Mostly clear golden body, thin to medium off-white head. Nose of alcohol, light fruits, and sugars, with light tannic oak. Prickly, boozy, sweet body with tart, honey-like sugars, light fruit, hints of bubblegum, and alcohol. Tangy and intense, a somewhat fleeting pleasure.

Bomber as Grand Cru from Bottle Barn. 500 ml c&c. Tough cork. Pours a light amber gold with a frothy/fizzy whie head. Aromas of fruit and mild oak. Med + body. Flavor is fruity, a little sweet, a little earthy, very mildly oaky. Usually I don’t appreciate agave, but here it seems under control. The oak steps out more strongly with time. If I’d had to guess I’d put this down as Belgian, but apparently I’m just imagining a little yeast spice. It’s finishing mildly sweet, but rather clean, and mildly oaky, and quite tasty.

500mL bottle, pours light golden with a white head. Aroma of oak, some fruits (peaches, nectarine), and nectar/honey. Flavour is cidery, with lots of fruits (peaches, nectarine, mango), honey, a little vanilla at the end. The 12.5% is worked in exceptionally well with no heat from it, though it is very warming. Delicious.

Pours a light golden straw with a white head that lingers. Aroma of wild yeast and earth. Very dry on the finish and well-rounded. Sweet full flavor with a spike of sugar on the end. Surprised that there is not more going on here.
