Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Comes as: "North Coast Grand Cru". Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Lovely oaky aroma combined with sweet fruit. Solid body, pours thick and syrupy with sweet oak and vanilla - not sure if I pick up the agave nectar though. Some alcohol heat. Lovely complexity. 290212

Sampled from a 750 ml corked brown bottle this beer poured a bright apricot color with a large fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy tequila, pineapple, kiwi and oak and was moderately boozy in a way that really worked. The flavor was very sweet and tangy pineapple, kiwi, tequila, oak, and bread. The finish was long sweet and tangy pineapple and tequila. Boozy again but in a way that surprisingly worked well. Fairly full bodied. Very nice.

Bottled:
Pours a clear, deep golden colour with a thick head. Aroma is rhubarbs, oak and Bourbon. Thick and sweet mouthfeel. Flavour is more perfumy Bourbon followed by a long, somewhat boozy bitterness.

500ml bottle labeled Grand Cru. Color was not what I imagined it would be, very pale, crystal clear, tight carbonation. Aroma was of the agave, sweet fruit, brown sugar. Taste was the same, no Brett or any yeasty adicity like I thought there would be. A very good beer, but way too sweet for me.

50 cl bottle from Systembolaget labeled "North Coast Grand Cru". Intensely fruity and floral. Strange taste and aroma, I guess it’s from the agave juice. Very sweet, not much bitterness. A hint of bourbon. Alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle at Pat’s birthday tasting at chriso’s. Pours clear gold with a fluffy, white head. Very sweet, doughy malt nose. Extremely sweet flavor, dough notes, white sugar, honey, white grapes. Full bodied with lively carbonation. Warm, sticky sweet finish, some more dough and sugar. A bit heavy overall with the sugar, but decent in small quantities.
