Ten Dollar Shake was originally brewed in collaboration with our friends at BrewDog Shepherd’s Bush as part of #CollabFest 2016. We put our heads together and decided to create a fruit smoothie of a beer, so this is a juice-packed IPA with the most fruit we’ve ever used in a brew, plus a huge hit of lactose for a thick and smooth body.

We build a big, thick mouthfeel before a generous dry-hop. We also include mango, papaya and passionfruit for good measure. Expect shake-sweetness, smoothie fruit notes and that hoppy, bitter goodness of an IPA.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 27/04/22. Almost clear golden with a good sized white head. Nose is passionfruit, mango, stoned fruits, melon, papaya. Taste comprises orange peel, strawberry pips, papaya, mango, soft malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness. Ok for the sub style if as usual overly sweet and lacking bitterness for an IPA.

Pours unclear blonde, small (nearly none) white head. Smell is fruity, mild lactose-like. Hidden maltyness. Taste is full, fruity ( apricot , very mild pine ). Good (pilsner)maltyness base. Bready. Mild bitterness. Nice body, medium low carbo.

Off white bubbly head soon left a collar & spotty cover on a turbid orange coloured still body. Mango, orange, sweet citrus & hoppy aroma. Medium bodied, sharp on the palate with an abrupt dry back. Bitter/Sweet citrus, mango, passion fruit & sweet orange tastes with a long tangy finish.
