The first beer we ever brewed, and safe to say a permanent favourite.
A traditionally brewed and cask conditioned beer, with New World hop additions. Cask beer is a live product and deserves to be handled with care and attention to be served at its best. A reliable and consistent crowd-pleaser.

Cask. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is cheesy, farty, biscuity. Taste is berries, light petroleum, biscuity again. Oily mouthfeel. Really not very good.

Cask at the brewery. It was light bodied and smooth but was I felt a fairly generic English blond with everything subdued but melding together well. According to the brewer it wasn’t in peak form any longer.
