Bortimot svart med beige skum. Lukter røstet malt, kaffe, tørkede svisker. Smaker kaffe, mørk karamell, soya saus. Mangler fylde men smake ok. ganske mye kullsyre.

From tap at Basement Beer Bar, Aalborg. Aroma is roasted malt, plenty of coffee, intense dark chocolate, potent liquorice, touch of dark fruits. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate roasty bitter. Body is full. Nice, thick and full of flavour!

Bottle split at L6 Tasting, thanks to Henrik, 13/07/22. 2014 vintage. Light black topped with a tan head. Nose is dark malts, light spice, charr, toffee, nutty. Taste comprises tangy dark fruit rinds, charr, molasses, toffee, mellow roast, soy sauce, spice. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay sipper if perhaps a little tired now.

Bottled. Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, roast, coffee and some mild liquorice along with a bit tobacco tones too. Flavour is tobacco, dark chocolate, roasted malts, liquorice and some mild toffee notes. Hides the alcohol well.

Bottle shared at the sweltering Columbus tasting. 13/07/2022. Many thanks to Henrik for this one. A oilydark caremel black coloured pour with halo of tan head. Aroma is semi sweet grape, brown sugars, waxy, apple jammy fruits, dusty. aged. Flavour is composed of semi sweettangy, apple, green , brown sugars, raisin, , light spicy vinegar. tangy. little soy. ok.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 12.02.2022) im 2019-06 getrunken. Dieses sehr gut gemachte IStout kommt mit einem sehr ausgewogenem Alkoholgehalt daher. Die Aromen von dunkler Schokolade und Malz passen sehr gut zueinander. Ein richtig gutes Stout!

From a 50 cl bottle poured into a Snifter. From an Irma supermarket. New batch, abv is 10 %, BBE February 2022. Near black with a mefium sized lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, chocolate, coffee, liqourice, fruity herbal roasted notes. Taste is sweet. Full body with an oily texture and a soft carbonation. Sweet finish with rich dark malts. Some metallic notes in the far finish, that doesn't do miracles for the beer.
