Location: 750 ml bottle from Superstar-Huntington, 12/7/14
Aroma: The aroma is heavy spice/pepper, with plenty of Saison yeast, some funk, a citrus hints
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color with a large beige head that sticks around for a while
Flavor: The flavor is spice/pepper up-front, a little funky mid-palate, floral, with orange/citrus late
Palate: This one is medium bodied, with a lively-to-fizzy carbonation, and a dry, tingly finish
Overall Impression: This is a really nice pepper-forward Saison. It has something a little "Duponty" about it, especially in the initial aroma, which I mean as a compliment for sure. That aroma was the standout for me. This is well-made and pretty good.

Medium sweet flavor with light poo, brett, mild tropical fruits, some herbal notes. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming to finish with sweet pale malts, brett, yeast. Nice stuff.

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. Really cloudy and glowing yellow - honey in the glass, and it has a massive really dense and lasting white top that's leaving some lovely lacing down the sides of the glass. Light brett on the nose, grapefruit zest, some oranges, wheat and even a hint of banana. Lime zest, Smells quite nice. A bit grainy in the taste. Light oily on the palate with a average carbonation level. Lots of yeast and zest in the taste. It's also a bit nutty bitter with citrus and tropical nuances. A bit to yeasty perhaps, but not bad at all. 04.05.2013

Bottle from whole foods midtown east. Pours cloudy brownish orange with huge white head. Nose of tropical fruits and spice. Tastes of tropical fruits and grapefruit, black pepper, coriander, doughy, some funk, ginger and lightly herbal. Not as dry as most saisons but quite pleasant with lingering finish.
