Whole Foods, Bowery 750ml ($12): Pours a really hazy orange/yellow with a white head. Aroma is funky, somewhat citrus, yeasty, and a tad herbal and spicy. Taste is the funk. Not as much dryness as other saisons. Hoppy tinge. Sort of everywhere a saison/Belgian ale tries to go. Good, but not as impressive as some of Westbrook’s other beers.

Tap at the Distillery, Savannah. It pours cloudy orange with a thick, dense white head. The nose is earthy, brown bread, tangerine, spice, hay and wood. The taste is earthy, orange peel, tangerine, white grape, zesty, earth, spice, grassy, dough and crisp bitterness with dry, lightly spicy finish. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. Good depth of flavour, balance and high drinkabilty. Damn tasty.

Draft. An unclear yellow beer wtih a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of spices among them black pepper, yeast, and lemons. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, yeast, and lemons. Boring flavor after a fantastic aroma.
